Our Story
In 1989, a father-and-son duo saw a gap in the investment landscape and decided to fill it with something good – that was the humble beginning of Ethinvest. A bit later, Trevor Thomas joined in, bringing a wealth of expertise to the growing venture. Now Ethinvest is privileged to work with over a thousand clients, managed by a diverse and talented team spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Northern Rivers and Adelaide.
In the early days, ethical investing options were limited, with barely a handful of managed funds in sight. Despite this, Ethinvest quietly stepped up, creating thoughtful portfolios from scratch. Now, Ethinvest responsibly oversee $1.2 billion in assets across various ethical perspectives for a diverse range of clients across Australia.

Along the way, Ethinvest has played a part in kickstarting vital initiatives like the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), the Ethical Advisers’ Co-op, and Australian Impact Investments; helping to transform the financial sector into one that mobilises capital for a better tomorrow.
