Ethinvest was the first investment advice firm in Australia to specialise in Ethical investment. We are now the largest and have developed a rigorous and transparent system for rating investments. We call this our Impact Spectrum.

Simple and Streamlined
Investing ethically can seem complex but our Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) makes it simple. Our three MPS portfolios (Conservative, Balanced and Growth) include the best ethical investments available and are offered via a lower cost, streamlined advice process for your Super, Pensions or other savings.
Tailored Portfolios
If you have strong ethical preferences and want a hands-on role, our Tailored Portfolio Service is for you. Your adviser will design a portfolio tailored to your needs, with changes pending your approval. This service caters to various structures, ranging from SMSFs, Trusts, NFP organisations, Foundations, to individuals and family groups.
Impact Investing
Impact Investing directs capital towards intentionally beneficial activities that provide a financial return, while also measuring their positive impact on the planet and its people.
In 2014 Ethinvest launched our sister company Australian Impact Investments (Aii), with the intention of growing the impact investing opportunities available to Australian investors. We are proud that Aii now has impact investment funds under advice of over $300 million, with a significant portion contributed by Ethinvest clients, underscoring the tangible positive difference being made.
It is important to note that Impact Investments are generally only available to Wholesale Investors – those with more than $2.5 million in investible assets or income of over $250,000 per year.

Our Impact Spectrum
Each investment is categorised as having one of four types of impact – harm to people or planet (H), avoid harm (A), benefit to people and planet (B) and contribute to solutions (C). We reserve type C for those investments where impact is intentional and measurable. We call this the Impact Spectrum.

The investment is directly involved in activities that harm or may harm people or planet

AVOID Harm
The investment has no direct involvement in activities that harm people or planet
B
BENEFIT People and Planet
The investment not only acts to avoid harm, but is also involved directly in activities that benefit people and planet
C
CONTRIBUTE to Solutions
The investment not only acts to avoid harm, but also intentionally generates positive, measurable outcomes for people and planet
